Summary of ICFAR

2nd International Conference of Fundamental and Applied Research (I-CFAR) 2025, hosted by the Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM), Dhyana Pura University, in collaboration with Miyazaki University (Japan) and academic partner institutions from Greater Manchester, United Kingdom, continues to promote academic excellence and strengthen multisectoral collaboration. This international forum brings together scholars, practitioners, and policymakers to share knowledge and foster innovation aimed at addressing pressing global challenges, in alignment with the United Nations’ 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Carrying the theme “Transforming Interdisciplinary Research for Sustainable Development: Challenges and Opportunities,” I-CFAR 2025 emphasizes the vital role of cross-disciplinary collaboration, bridging science, technology, the humanities, and social sciences, in addressing complex societal problems. With the SDGs targeting global issues such as poverty, health, education, gender equality, and climate change, interdisciplinary research becomes an essential catalyst for sustainable development. The conference aims to generate actionable insights and integrative approaches that can drive meaningful, long-term impact at both local and global levels.
